We joined forces with 23rd Harrogate Cubs for this year’s weekend camp at Thornthwaite. For many of our Cubs, this was their first experience of camping and unfortunately it proved to be a nasty introduction to the joys of camping. The weather on Friday night was awful, torrential rain and howling winds throughout the night combining to make life very difficult.

There was plenty of fun over the weekend though. The Beavers joined us for a BBQ on the Saturday night and we all got round the camp fire for some fun and a song or two.
