9 Beavers, 34 Cubs and 14 Scouts attended this year's Group Camp which was held at Hesley Wood (Sheffield) from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th October.

Most of the weekend was centered around traditional Scouting skills. Everyone had the chance to pitch a tent, light a fire and do some cooking andĀ make camp gadgets.

Throughout the weekend each Patrol had to complete a number of challenges which earned them "money". The PL kept the money throughout the weekend so no-one knew how each other was doing.
Sunday's activities were on 11 bases which the Patrols could visit in any order. Completing tasks such as matching map symbol cards, making a cup of tea on a Trangia, tying knots and a few fun activities such as extinguishing tea-lights with a water pistol, earned them more money.

At the end of the camp the money was counted and Jack's Patrol were declared the winners.

At the closing ceremony Holly was presented with her Chief Scout's Bronze award brfore she was invested as a Cub along with Jaygo, Sophie, Umberto and Conor.
Katherine and Claire were then presented with their Chief Scout's Silver award before being invested as Scouts.
