Six Mile Hikes

We parked in Pateley Bridge and walked next to the River Nidd to Corn Close. From Corn Close we went on to a minor road and took the first bridleway on the left, we then took another left onto the first footpath crossing the beck and to the foot bridge at Moscar Bottom. At the junction of footpaths we took the right hand turn at the bridleway. We walked along the bridleway to Brandstone Dub Bridge where we stopped for lunch. We then continued along part of the Nidderdale Way past a disused mine. We crossed Ashfold Side Beck, turned right and continued along the road passt Ashfold Side Plantation and back to Moscar bottom. We took the left hand path up Maxdield Plain to rejoin the Nidderdale way on which we turned left and then took the left hand turn behind Eagle Hall back down to Pateley Bridge
