On 9th October, eight of our Cubs took part in the County organised Orienteering event at Harlow Hill in Harrogate.

There was a choice of courses open to the Cubs. The eldest took the more challenging Yellow course, whilst the other six took the white course.

For the majority of our Cubs, this was the first time they had taken part in Orienteering but they coped very well.

As there was quite a bit of time left after completing their chosen courses, we allowed the whole group to go off together without and leader supervision on the yellow course and they managed it in a very respectable time.
