Last weekend 25 Cubs spent the weekend camping at Walesby Forest. With exceptionally warm weather for September and some great activities, everyone had a great time!
Well done to the 13 Cubs who were spending their first night in a tent. They all survived the weekend and many have already said they are eager to camp again
Over the weekend the Cubs had a chance to take part in several activities on site. These were climbing, archery, rifle shooting, fencing and the zip wire. On the Sunday the Cubs then took part in several challenges in their sixes with bases including a range of physical and mental activities

Unfortunately one Six didn’t return their points sheets and some didn’t return the orienteering sheets so we just had to add up what we got. There were also 2 unnamed eggs still safe at the end of the weekend that we didn’t know who to award points for
